Monday thru Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.
The program is an annual process, organized and created by the Otter Point Creek Alliance (OPCA) Board to give the ACLEC community a way to recognize, enhance the prestige of, and publicly reward adult (18 and over) and junior (17 and under) volunteers for exceptional, outstanding service.
To recognize special volunteer(s) who give of their time and resources to increase awareness, stewardship and appreciation of the estuarine environment and of the ACLEC and its programs.
All who volunteer at ACLEC.
All members, volunteers, staff, and program participants of ACLEC and OPCA. You may remain anonymous if you wish.
Nominations are accepted from August 20 thru November 1, 2020.
Complete an "Application for Nomination" or submit a one page, double-spaced letter outlining duties, contributions, special traits, and the reason why the person nominated should be the Volunteer of the Year. Applications are available on the website, www.otterpointcreek.org, or at the Center. Applications or nomination letters may be emailed (aclec@harfordcountymd.gov), faxed (410-612-0819), or mailed (700 Otter Point Road, Abingdon, MD 21009) to the Estuary Center .
