Thursday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.
Wood Duck Box and Nesting Information
Harford Christian School students have collected the following information for each wood duck box:
- Physical location
- GPS location
- Hole orientation and size
- Box height from water
- Presence/absence of predator guard and climbing wire
- How box opens
- Assigned number for box
Students collect nesting data for each box every year. Nesting evidence includes:
- Nesting material used
- Number of hatched eggs
- Number of unhatched eggs
- Any other observations regarding nest and box
