We have several programs at Otter Point Creek that are mainly driven by students. If you are a teacher and interested in a project for your classroom, please contact Kriste Garman, Park Naturalist.
The Otter Point Creek Alliance and the Chesapeake Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve in Maryland (Maryland Reserve) co-sponsor a summer research internship. Internships are open to qualified undergraduate and graduate students to conduct a summer research project within the Otter Point Creek Component of the Maryland Reserve.
The Wood Duck Project is a cooperative effort with the Anita C. Leight Estuary Center, the Izaak Walton League of America - Harford County, and Harford Christian School (HCS).
Working in conjunction with Harford County schools on magnet programs such as the Supervised Agricultural Experience at North Harford High School, students develop and conduct their own research projects. Contact Kriste Garman for more information.
