Leight Speaker Series - Hometown Habitats
Learn how to transform your yard, local park, or congregational property into a haven for wildlife using native plantings. Hometown Habitat is narrated by Dr. Douglas Tallamy, UDel bug expert and an international leader of the native plants movement. Weaving together environmental science and real-life experiences, Hometown Habitat is a story told by people who experienced the challenges and rewards of transforming their outdoor spaces to be more resilient and welcoming to all forms of life. It inspires us all to make a difference, one property at a time. 90 minute movie with an intermission, followed by Q and A session and potluck refreshments.
