Wood Duck Box and Nesting Information
Harford Christian School students have collected the
following information for each wood duck box:
Physical location
GPS location
Hole orientation and size
Box height from water
Presence/absence of predator guard and climbing wire
How box opens
Assigned number for box
Students collect nesting data for each box every year.
Nesting evidence includes:
Nesting material used
Number of hatched eggs
Number of unhatched eggs
Any other observations regarding nest and box
